Dear Friends,
The reason behind writing this post is that I saw that many of us highly qualified educated people were getting trapped into this.
Recently, I met one of our college teacher. She is highly qualified professor of our college. She left her job and started this business. After meeting her, I was shock that how she got trapped into this bullshit and also left her career to follow this.
Now she started convening others that they should also join this business and become economically independent.
Basically, What they used to tell you ?
Firstly they will ask about your dreams then How you will going to make it true ?
Ultimately, you will say that you need money to fulfill it.
Then they will tell about there business plan and its advantages. After that how can in just 1 year become millionaire.
In there language, economically independent.
After that they will show you that this business has exponential growth. And some figure of huge amount of money in just less time without any hard work.
You just have to convince some other people to join this and with that referrals as any of them join the business you will get benefit.
The most important is that they will show the branded accessories like watch, sunglasses, etc that they are having and tell you that with the help of this business they owned it.
I don't think so this is just a market strategy to make you fool.
This is a 1-2 hours lecture or I'll say torture by any of whom who is your friend or relatives. In my opinion, please don't get trapped into this.
Please Use your brain. There is no such thing other than hard work. This just a waste of time and making fool to you're self and your love one's.
There is still so many points that I'll have to say but I am making this post short.

Recently I got the mail from Ecolab company regarding the walk-in interview.
The interview was at Chennai and that was remote location for me.
So they didn't not mentioned anything on the mail about the selection procedure's.
When I reached there they told me there three rounds and every round is a knockout round.
1. Group discussion
2. Technical Interview
3. HR interview
In GD, they made batches of ten people and gave one topic for discussion.
Only 10 sec have been given by them for the thinking and noting points after we have start the GD.
The topic of GD would be very generalize.
They told us in the beginning you will be judge on your communication and power of listening.
So only very few them from all batches were selected.
How to crack this?
1. Be patient
2. Show some leadership qualities.
3. Best way to clear just the GD and always say on the favour of the topic.
4. Put 1-2 point at the time of conclusion.
Many of them will get eliminated in this round.
In 2nd round, personal interview with the senior engineer/ personnel.
They will ask you about yourself, company profile, your current job and salary, why NALCO? Etc. Questions.
How to crack this?
1. Thoroughly study about the company from companies website.
2. Be confident
3. Do not lie
4. If you don't know some of answer that's ok, tell me them you don't know.
5. Your introduction plays vital role here so prepare it very well.
6. Have smile on your face.
In 3rd round, HR will ask you are you ready to relocate? What is your expected salary? Etc.
It is just nominal round just answer in a positive way.
They will never negotiate on salary.
So don't become rigid on that.

So, mainly in this department you have sort out the technical requirement of the order excluding price, batch no., etc.
You have to firstly understand which kind of valve is needed.
For what purpose they need that valve ?
And do they need any special accessories on valve.
After reading the whole order completely, choose suitable design standards and materials for the different parts of the valve.
Note : Remember if any mistake happens here in reading the order completely then it is very hazardous for your job career growth in that company.
So be alert and active.
There are various kinds of standards for designing the different types of valves.
Being an engineer, your role is to remember all those standards. Learn it thoroughly even if somebody ask when you were taking nap then also you may have able to give correct answer.
So it was the first day of job as trainee in technical review department.
About technical review department :
It is the department in which we have to study the proper customer need. According to customer order, we have to sort out proper details.
It mainly include the understanding of the customer requirement. And also the complete knowledge of our own products and their specifications.
The department is joined with the design section.
Because after the complete review of the customer requirement, the design department will work on it. The changes in design are included here.
So being technical review engineer, you have to learn by heart about the company products and their quality standards and other important specifications.
It is mainly a day long process consisting of around 5 rounds.
1. Essay writing
It is offline test round in which you have to write essay. You have write essay on any one topic out of two options given to you.
Trick : Write essay in simple language and construct simple sentence. Most importantly avoid grammatical mistake.
Avoid overwriting.
Take your time and don't get panic. You can ask HR if you are facing any problem.
2. Logical test
It is again a offline test round in which you have to solve the logical reasoning question.
Trick : To crack this round you must have good analytical ability. Your mathematics skills plays vital role here.

This is not a time bounded round. Take your time and you will definably clear this round.
Note : If you have successfully clears the above two rounds then there is 70% chances that you are selected.
3. HR round
It is the face to face interview round in which he will ask you questions about your academics, qualification and etc.
Trick: Stay focused. Answer every question very frankly or honestly. And most important be confident.
4. E-commerce test and typing test
It is the online round in which you have write answer to the questions.
It is the most easy round in which you to write answer by searching in Google.
All the instructions were already written on the paper in which questions are there.
Trick : if you got stuck any where you can ask HR and they will definitely help you.
Advantage of this round you can have 2-3 retry if you failed in first attempt.
5. Final Senior HR Round
It is the final round in which ask you some same questions which ever been asked to you earlier. It is mainly stress interview. The HR would try to manipulate you.
Trick : Stay focused and do not revert your any answer and try to justify your answer and don't discuss any your future plans with them ( like further study, etc).
Just try to convince him that in any how condition you will work and say yes if they ask for signing any bond. (Actually there are no bonds ).

Being an engineer, you will be having very high hopes about your job, salary and other dreams. But if you are a mechanical engineer and you are willing to work in a core industry then it is too difficult to find the job.
Later if any how you are lucky and got the job. Then there is lot of struggle like you have to do field work. And the main issue is that avg starting salary is too low as compared to IT sector.
The current scenario is so bad. Many engineers who were passed out from past 2-3 years not getting job.
Many people used to say that it is a evergreen branch and other stuff.
Those allegations are just fake.
So, in our suggestion please do not pursue mechanical engineering from any local college. The condition is so worse.
Although you are good in studies and got excellent grades. It may not change your situation and you have to struggle.
