So, mainly in this department you have sort out the technical requirement of the order excluding price, batch no., etc.
You have to firstly understand which kind of valve is needed.
For what purpose they need that valve ?
And do they need any special accessories on valve.
After reading the whole order completely, choose suitable design standards and materials for the different parts of the valve.
Note : Remember if any mistake happens here in reading the order completely then it is very hazardous for your job career growth in that company.
So be alert and active.
There are various kinds of standards for designing the different types of valves.
Being an engineer, your role is to remember all those standards. Learn it thoroughly even if somebody ask when you were taking nap then also you may have able to give correct answer.
