Recently I got the mail from Ecolab company regarding the walk-in interview.
The interview was at Chennai and that was remote location for me.
So they didn't not mentioned anything on the mail about the selection procedure's.
When I reached there they told me there three rounds and every round is a knockout round.
1. Group discussion
2. Technical Interview
3. HR interview
In GD, they made batches of ten people and gave one topic for discussion.
Only 10 sec have been given by them for the thinking and noting points after we have start the GD.
The topic of GD would be very generalize.
They told us in the beginning you will be judge on your communication and power of listening.
So only very few them from all batches were selected.
How to crack this?
1. Be patient
2. Show some leadership qualities.
3. Best way to clear just the GD and always say on the favour of the topic.
4. Put 1-2 point at the time of conclusion.
Many of them will get eliminated in this round.
In 2nd round, personal interview with the senior engineer/ personnel.
They will ask you about yourself, company profile, your current job and salary, why NALCO? Etc. Questions.
How to crack this?
1. Thoroughly study about the company from companies website.
2. Be confident
3. Do not lie
4. If you don't know some of answer that's ok, tell me them you don't know.
5. Your introduction plays vital role here so prepare it very well.
6. Have smile on your face.
In 3rd round, HR will ask you are you ready to relocate? What is your expected salary? Etc.
It is just nominal round just answer in a positive way.
They will never negotiate on salary.
So don't become rigid on that.
